Fits 2008 Jeep Liberty

No more "flash" indicator. Easy replacement except I messed up the cable connector retainer by removing it. When reinstalling I used a zip tie over the connector to secure it; nice and tight. Driven about 15 miles and no performance issues or "lightning" hits. Gave 4 stars because reliability hasn't been determined yet. The quality looks good; expectations are high.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • boring packaging

Electronics fault code on system scanner

I received this throttle body for a 2013 Golf with the same part number. Delivery came on time and beautiful. The first impression of this product is excellent, scissors and mechanical casting in good condition. However, the engine could not be started even when idling after it was switched on. Then the computer scanner tried to check and the systems showed the error code several times and the car did not start properly. I would say the easy part of making an item like this in a cheap overseasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great price if you don't need to be OEM and seems to be working fine

4 stars as it started without too much trouble and is still running great. the jury is still out. I could copy Kenny S.'s February 2019 review almost verbatim, so I won't. Same car with about 85,000 miles, same situation, probably same code (P0122). After installation, the EPC display went out. on his own. Had to clear the code with a standard OBD-II reader (my old Harbor Freight machine did the job). I took the plunge earlier this week and bought an Ancel VD500 for about $50 to do a throttleโ€ฆ

Direct replacement for VW Part #07K133062A

My 2012 Jetta 2.5L started throwing EPC lights and waddling. The car eventually gave out a Check Engine light code associated with the throttle position sensor reporting low voltage. Once established I had to replace the throttle body (can't just find/change the throttle position sensor). My search for a throttle body has begun! I found this part from Aiken after finding the OEM part #07K133062A at my local dealer for about $650. Found multiple sources online in the $200-$400 aftermarket range.

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • wrinkled
