Unsafe and Unusable

I am an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector, Metallurgist and NQA1 Certified Nuclear Inspector, ASNT lvl 2 MT and PT and UT certified. And a member of the Society of Highlanders. This is to justify what I present here. The blade of the ax was torn off the axe. It was welded back on and poorly finished. Poorly forged and keeps falling apart

Literally nothing good to say about these trucks. The head slips over the handle with every throw, the forging quality is pathetic. When the axes arrived they didn't have an edge so I took a hand file to them and was able to fully sharpen a completely dull blade in less than 10 minutes which suggests they didn't harden the steel properly. After three throws at the soft pine disc, the blade dulled again. I ended up having to drive nails into the wood to keep the head from sliding down with each…

Got 2 different Hawk units

I ordered this Hawk because it had a pretty good price and reviews. When I received it it was smaller than I expected and when I measured the item it didn't quite match the measurements on the website. The blade edge is 3.25 inches, which is half an inch shorter than the description. So I decided to order another one and of course the new Goshawk has a larger ax head with the right dimensions. Best Axes and Low Quality Axes

This is my second throwing falcon. I've had the first one for about 10 years, he's had thousands of litters and is still a fantastic throwing falcon. This one isn't much better than garbage. The finish of the steel head is terrible, the inside that contacts the handle is very rough and unfinished and quickly began to erode the wooden handle. Nice tomahawk for $20.

I don't give many bad reviews. I'm pretty easy to please, but I can't get past this product. Like many who will be buying this tomahawk, I was inspired by the Wranglerstar review.
