99 Camaro Z28 in muffler

Bought and welded in place of my original muffler. Wasn't much louder but not much deeper either, the quality of the product is excellent and Amazon sent it out promptly, I would return it if I could but not sure if they would take the used muffler back.

Used on my Grand Am GT.

I bought this muffler for my 2004 Grand Am. It has an aggressive tone, is deep and delivers a good buzz but no buzz. It's not as loud as the similar Flowmaster muffler, but it sounds deeper. Overall very happy with the sound.

good sound good for muffler

Replaced the old Flowmaster with this one. Exact dimensions as with the Flowmaster, so easy for me to install. The sound is softer, but still sporty, what is pleasant is the hum and vibration at idle. The feeling in the Flowmaster was just unbearable, like sitting in the washing machine while it was spinning.

Great muffler if you want a deep, deep rumble

We installed this muffler on our 1999 Grand Am Resto mod and it sounds fantastic! At idle, this muffler emits a very deep rumble. At speed, this muffler is quite loud. At Grand Am, the maximum "resonance" of the sound is about 45 miles per hour. Don't expect heart-to-heart conversations as you cruise down the street! I recently installed a Thrush "turbo muffler" on another car and this welded muffler easily makes twice the noise. This is a cross muffler with one inlet and two outlets. This…
