Terrible product, waste of money

Do not buy this product. According to the instructions, I put the mouthguard in water so that it fits my teeth better. The product was destroyed as soon as I put it in hot water! Terrible waste of money! I had to throw it away because it was damaged!

Easy to use - follow instructions for T

I'm a grinder. My dentist advised me to order one of these instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a custom one. When I received it, it reminded me of the mouthguard I used as a kid. You must follow the instructions fully to ensure you get a good bite and don't bite through. I had no problems as the instructions are very simple.

Nice rubbery texture

This mouthguard fits very snugly on the teeth and offers good cushioning and protection. It has a nice gummy texture that I find pleasant to chew on. Except for the color I'm satisfied. I chose the clear one because I figured it wouldn't stand out as much when cycling. But the transparent yellowed and not very attractive. My next attempt - the perfect mouthguard turns white.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Almost never

I personally didn't like this one

I personally didn't like that. He was too fat to sleep well. It fit my mouth very well and held its shape with no problems. It was just hard to sleep comfortably with it on. I also can't imagine being too comfortable outside of light contact sports. I wouldn't recommend this for boxing or reggae, but maybe a soccer league kid or something.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • A few little things

Wouldn't buy again

I bought this mouthguard for my 5 year old for his karate sparring class and it's not great. We followed directions with cooking etc but no dents from the teeth. We even cooked it twice to try and make it work. My husband often made his own mouthguard so he knew what he was doing. It kinda sits on his teeth but when he opens his mouth it slides off. On the plus side, it fits in his small mouth (after a little trimming on the back) and he doesn't choke or anything like that. He likes that he's…

Protection for smaller adults

The person I bought this for may have a very massive head (cave skull) but was quite small. So small that we didn't even cook and adjust them. I just don't think they would give enough - even after a boil - to fit in his jaw. But it's always good to have one just in case, so I don't mind having it on hand for a few bucks. It actually fitted my mouth perfectly, so who knows. One day I might need it. For someone with a smaller jaw, that would be fine. It has a fairly soft cushion and seems easy…

Pros
  • Heavy workmanship
Cons
  • Not reliable

Not as convenient as I expected

He was easy to cure, the instructions that came with it were easy to follow. The real mouthguard does not look like the mouthguard in the picture. There is a piece that goes into the mouth where the tongue meets the upper teeth; the tongue tends to rest (quite comfortably) on the surface of the piece. The space where the teeth are located is wider than necessary, which is why it does not fit. In the picture of the mouthguard they appear to be more comfortable than they really are. I could only…
