Description of πŸͺš The Sharp Precision of Timber Wolf Bandsaw Blade 105

Milled teeth are 50 PERCENT SHARPER than competitors stamped or crush ground blades. Precision Induction hardening throughout the blade vs competitors flame hardening. Tooth edge is 20 PERCENT harder than any high carbon steel resulting in extended sharp time. More ductile steel than any high carbon steel leads to extended flex life and a cooler running blade.

I want to give zero stars. This blade was bent and had a bad weld. It doesn't hum like my other wolfwood blades and moves back and forth on hoops. Sent back immediately! I almost think it's fake or not branded because it wasn't in the regular packaging. Update: After contacting the seller again, Chris sent me a new blade that works great! I think I just got a bad one and this is what happens.

Near Perfect Bandsaw Blade

This could be a great blade at a great price. It is very sharp, has good solid teeth and cuts well even when there is a problem. The problem is in the weld. Mine looks good, but it's not straight. The blade will bounce back and forth (rather than side-to-side) with an annoying "tic-ticc-ticc" sound as it breaks off and returns to the guide wheels. If the welding had been done better I would have given five stars. For me, a lumberjack that's even $10 more expensive is what I'll come back to. Too

  • Long Lead Time

I'm feeling lucky. - Band Saw Blades

I bought three of these saw blades. The first would definitely be a 5 star rating. Smooth cut, straightness, etc. The second blade had a horrible kink at the weld. The deflection is almost 1/4 inch. Basically useless. The third blade was better but still had a slightly curved weld. Cuts and tracks well but makes a ticking noise that keeps you on your toes because it works like a blade about to snap at a weld. I've been buying Timberwolf blades for years and hope they fix what seems to be a…

Disappointing purchase

I saw the mixed reviews and decided to buy anyway as the store that sells them is about an hour away. The blade was not an exact 105 and was significantly longer than intended. The packaging was also just an envelope, not the typical box that products are sold in woodworking shops. This may be due to the manufacturer's packaging decision, but in any case, this combined with the custom blade size will result in my not ordering the product here. Timber Wolf makes excellent blades, but something…

Near-great bandsaw blade

This can be a great blade at a great price. It is very sharp, has good hard teeth and cuts well even when there is a problem. The problem is in the weld. Mine looks good, but it's not straight. The blade will bounce back and forth (rather than side-to-side) with an annoying "tic-tic-tic" noise as it disengages and returns to the guide wheels. If the welding had been done better I would have given five stars. For me, a lumberjack that's even $10 more expensive is what I'll come back to. Too bad…

Excellent regrooving with a smaller (1hp) bandsaw

This works great with my 14" Jet 1hp bandsaw with an upgraded riser. I have previously tried the Timber Wolf 3/4" blade with 3 tpi (no increase) and I feel my 1hp bandsaw is a little underpowered for the 3/4" blade. It was very difficult to push the workpiece through. The 1/2 inch blade seems to struggle just as hard as I do cutting a 10 inch board today. I have found that 4 tpi helps move the wood, albeit slightly faster than 3 tpi, and has no negative impact on cut wander.

Pros
  • Precision induction hardening of the entire blade versus competitive flame hardening
Cons
  • No automatic
