Would definitely recommend them as a cheaper alternative to airbags

With the five wheel trailer, my truck (2016 Ford F-250) visibly squatted and pushed the bed down roughly 3 inches. So I decided to try Timbrens to help pump. They're definitely an improvement, halving the squat (1.5 inches) and the ride is noticeably smoother. I didn't feel the effects of an empty trip as some have mentioned. I definitely recommend them as a cheaper alternative to airbags.

Great product if you have a fifth wheel

We tow a 13,000 pound fifth wheel on our 2014 F250. We're close to our car's towing limit and didn't have the stability we'd like. This update has made a big difference. The truck is much more stable and big bumps don't hit the truck as hard. Driving performance improves significantly when towing, and we didn't notice any negative impact on driving when the truck was empty. This is a great solution if you're looking to upgrade your tractor but can't or don't want to afford fancy airbags.

They were pretty easy to install

They were pretty easy to install even in the shop as I don't have a lift. They handle my 12,000 pound fifth wheel load very well. They did change the empty ride a bit though, as one side touches my feathers and the other doesn't. It's best to leave my fifth bike where it can affect it. I haven't driven a truck since Timbrens were installed in a truck with no problem. In general I am very happy with them. The truck handles much better loaded and empty, with more shaking, but not objectionable.

Excellent customer service

Easy install and works great I tow a 43ft fifth wheel and they work great after a year of use, one of the rubber pieces broke/fell off. I searched the internet for that specific part, not the whole set, and couldn't find it, but eventually I called Timbren and told them what had happened. They asked me to send them some pictures of it and a week later a brand new one was on my doorstep for free, I didn't even have to pay for shipping. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the product broke…

Timbrens spring aids are excellent

These Timbrens spring aids are really easy to install and work as intended and help with loading. My gooseneck horse trailer weighs about 7500 pounds empty and I know our first F250 diesel truck squatted horribly when we dropped it. We ended up installing airbags on this truck, which worked great when the trailer was on the truck, but had to be deflated when not towing because the ride was so bumpy. We didn't have a compressor on board so constantly inflating and deflating was a real pain. They

Helpful Installation Tips

The whole process of removing both factory fenders and installing the timbres took about an hour but I ran into a few difficulties which I'll explain here in hopes you won't notice. The first thing I recommend is to put some penetrating oil on the factory nuts, one on each side, and wait 10 minutes, then use a large pipe wrench to compress the factory fender while turning the socket wrench to loosen the nut from the top remove. You'll need a 15mm jack with a 3" extension if you want to keep…
