Misleading information

Says it fits my truck, didn't fit, was too big, later saw they said it was 2500 themselves. They somehow set it up to fit the car, what doesn't fit, they have to fix it

Pros
  • Automobile
Cons
  • Has defects

this must be for 4x4

I bought this from Amazon it fits my car and it might well fit a 2005 Chevy. Only it doesn't fit on the rear shaft of my 2WD Chevy. This is a transmission case seal----not an automatic transmission output shaft oil seal. My Chevy is a full factory 2005 1500 2wd auto 4 speed and this seal is much larger. I've swapped out my carrier bearing and gimbals and it doesn't even come close. fit. This is Gm sku #SKU: 24232325Other names: Automatic Transmission Housing Gasket Gasket Not a problem for me…

Pros
  • seals
Cons
  • dented

Not for transfer case Ford 1356.

Excellent sealing. The 1356 transfer case in a Ford truck absolutely does not fit. "Installation Verification" on Revain is incorrect for this part. 5 days past the return date so I'm now stuck with 2 unusable stamps.

Pros
  • Excellent sealing
Cons
  • Expensive

Not as advertised

This part will NOT fit 2001 RAM 1500, Laramie 2WD, 5.9L V8. If you are planning on buying this part for this truck, change your plans as it is nowhere near correct. If you are putting this part on a 2001 Ram 1500, Laramie 2WD, 5.9L V8, don't assume that the 1.5" clearance needs to be present on the shaft itself, BECAUSE IT SHOULD NOT BE THERE.

Pros
  • Prevents abrasives, corrosive moisture and other harmful contaminants from entering cars
Cons
  • Some difficulties
