Timken BM500007 Bearing Module Review

The Timken box had a Koyo bearing, no big deal as both are considered genuine OEM factory parts and are of the same high quality. Excellent fit with new Dorman hub and Timken oil seal. I pressed the bearing against the hub myself and now I'm having problems. MonkeyProof@TacomaWorld.com

Replaced both front wheel bearings on my 08 4runner. One with Koyo a few months ago and now Timken on the other side (Koyo was sold out). To my surprise, when I opened the Timken box, I found a Koyo bearing. Works great with the Dorman Hub. KOYO/Timken is always excellent quality.

I only bought these because the picture shows they have Koyo bearings. You are not! Anyway most Timken bearings work or earlier unless they are the same bearings just renamed. I was very happy when I opened the box and realized this. An explanation from Timken would be great

Best stock quality for this Toyota model. ATTENTION, DORMAN HUBS ALSO SOLD ON AMAZON PRIME. 95% of the time you will need them too. Old bearings are rarely pressed out. YOU ALSO NEED NEW HUBS. The bearings have the right wheel tone for abs and vsc. VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE SCAN TOOL TO RECALIBRATE. CHEAP CHINESE WAREHOUSES SOMETIMES NOT.
