Not what it says: Welding and Soldering

Says Made in Washington State. The packaging says Made in China. This is the second CO2 regulator to have died for me 48 hours ago, less than a year later. They make good lighting fixtures and stay away from Chinese made CO2 regulators and monitors.

Cons
  • Some Little Things

Good setting works best for welders and supplies

good setting, only gripe is the 20lb bottle shows almost empty and the sensor vibrates horribly depending on the temperature. The last fill of the gauge was empty but was still about 1/4 full. Don't trust the pressure gauge! The float switch works perfectly.

Internal wiring holds but crappy plastic cord tightener is comet junk

The electrical connection of the power cord to the solenoid is very fragile and loose. It has almost no voltage and explodes. The internal wiring stays on, but the crappy plastic cable clip is comet junk. Do not buy. I bought three. Two have failed so far, the next one will probably come soon and I will get my money back.

Anyone who likes trash will love this product.

Do not buy. Never worked from day one. From what I've researched, I'm definitely not the only one who has immediate problems. I was able to adjust the flow rate with the wheel, but the ball counter just stayed at 0 no matter how high or low I turned the knob. I could see the changes on my controller so I knew it was increasing/decreasing the CO2 flow rate but couldn't tell what the flow rate was because the sensor wasn't working. You buy these things so you don't have to guess. So, I saw a…

Works great when installed correctly

Despite what the instructions say, use Teflon (plumber's) tape if you don't want leaks. You should also use a wrench to tighten the bolt 1/2-1 turn after hand tightening. If you installed the flow meter correctly, the tank should not be leaking or empty until the solenoid valve is connected and the main tank valve and smaller knob are turned counterclockwise. CO2 pours in fairly quickly; Don't hold the smaller knob more than one turn until the flow meter reads 2 (I don't know the units). Get a…
