📺 TiVo Mini LUX DVR Extender: Enhance Your TiVo Experience with Seamless Expansion Review

We had an old Mini that gasped after several years of trouble free service. The new one we picked and ordered here came pretty quickly, great packaging with a pretty good manual if you're a bit techy! It installed without any issues (well, almost - I had to reset/power off a few times!) and works exactly how we hoped it would. It's functionally better with the display, and additional remote features (like speech, which hasn't made any mistakes so far) are faster than before. Worth every penny!

The biggest POS I've dealt with in a long time. The main NVR is never found and after a series of reboots on both devices it sees the host for maybe 5 minutes if you're lucky and disconnects for no reason. Both devices can still be found on the network and when you check the connection they both report excellent status. With MOCA connection and over 600Mbps between LUX and Tivo Bolt which is twice as fast as the old Tivo Mini devices (92000 and 93000)! I've used both old versions of Tivo Mini and they struggle to run modern apps like Revain Video, Netflix and definitely Plex without freezing or crashing.
