It takes the burden.

I used this circuit breaker on a 12V 2000W inverter in my RV. While it works great. I tried 2 different circuit breakers from another brand in the same application and neither of them worked for more than a minute or two when I started my microwave. That's about 150 amps. This one hasn't burst open yet, so I'm a happy backpacker.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The unit I received DOES NOT have a manual override button

I bought this product instead of other similar products because they are advertised and photographed with a manual release button and because they clearly state the size of the protrusion. The device I received DOES NOT have a manual release button so I am deducting 2 stars for an item delivered that is not as advertised. I couldn't return it because it was outside the return window at the time of checking, so it's my fault.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Negative impression

Much better than ANL Car Audio Fuses

Much better than ANL Car Audio Fuses. You push a button and your stereo turns off, move the hammer and you're back to work. Another big plus is that there is no spark when installing the fuse (that always scared me). Of course it still sparks because the capacitors draw a lot of current when the amp is first turned on, but it's protected by the case.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Frequency

Not worth it - spare parts

8 months from purchase and installation. This excellent 50 amp switch is cheap and obviously NOT waterproof. It has never been in direct contact with salt water, but it only rusts because it is in a marine environment (in my console on my boat). Save money and spend it on a sealed device with rust-free hardware. it's far from "superior" and if I could give it 0 stars 🌟 I would. And unfortunately I can't return it 😕

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great circuit breaker!

Great little circuit breaker for the price. I used it in place of the factory fuse that came with my winch. When I use my winch I abuse it and the factory fuse would cause it to overheat to the point where it wouldn't stop working. With this installed I don't worry anymore, it appears at the right time. I'm not talking about early stumbles, this little breaker pushes it to the limit and then stumbles. The advantage of this switch is that it is small and you can stop the current with the push of

Pros
  • Easy install, manual reset circuit breaker
Cons
  • Not as bulky as other options

I bought this because I expected a 50A breaker - that's what the rating says. I understand that a current of more than 50A must flow for a certain time in order to work. What they don't tell you upfront is what is listed on the chart that came with that switch. A significant overcurrent must flow for a long time before this switch trips. At this point, any wiring or circuitry you're trying to protect is likely to burn out. Look at the table that came with the switch. In my case I have a 50 amp…

Pros
  • Voltage, 32 V DC, 15 A
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
