So I really liked them for the ease of putting them on and the lack of extra laces that sometimes came loose and got under my blade. Then, after a few games, they started popping out of the pad after only a few minutes of play and this limited the ability to return the pad to its original position. You cannot reattach the hook without completely removing the pad, and you cannot do so in-game. The biggest problem with them is that they fall apart very easily if a goalkeeper pushes or slips for…

Works well, durability is poor

My son, a 13 year old bantam goalie, prefers these hooks to laces. They're quicker to put on and he likes the way his pads feel as they rise and fall from the fly. They allowed the pads to move enough and I had no knee pain, or at least very little pain, after the first ride. On my second use, I noticed during the session that my foot pad was rotating too much in either direction. I couldn't figure it out until I removed the pads. The bungee that connects the…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
