Tomei Shift Knob Long 90Mm Review

Feels good and looks neat. On my 2006 Mazda 3 (manual transmission) I had to modify the original shift boot that came with the car so that it could be bolted on. The thread has gone quite far into the shift knob. I would recommend going 70mm long if I buy again.

Bolted straight onto my 240sx which has been replaced with an RB and has a 300zx drivetrain. The thread pitch is pretty much the same on all these old Nissans. Well worth the money and this is something that will last a long time! Great in hand!

First impressions are not very good. It seems cheap compared to others I've used that cost less than $20. The top logo is glued on and mine has scuffs on both sides. It's also fairly light, which doesn't help the price. For me the price is too high. I would buy one on ebay for less than $20, it's really nice and good quality material, but the adapters didn't fit my Mazda properly. I would avoid this first and find something on ebay at a much better price that might fit your car.

There's a good chance this is the cheapest quality gear knob. Nothing unusual, but there are no burrs and the carving inside is clean. Tomei is known for their quality parts so it's nice to see something from them that doesn't get paid for in 2 weeks.

Peeling off the decals was difficult and unintuitive as it appeared to damage the surface of the cylinder insert at the top of the handle. But other than that, it's bolted straight onto the 2016 Mazda 6. Excellent finish, sits as high as the stock knob but is thinner and feels more direct when shifting.
