Perfect adapter for 49 " monitor + MacBook

Excellent adapter. Works well with my 49" Samsung monitor (crg9) with MacBook Pro 16"". I tried other adapters and they didn't support the full resolution of my monitor, but this one worked!

GOOD PRODUCT! Best in Computers and Accessories

I bought this to play VR on my Razer Blade Pro 17, literally plug and play! I received the valve index so it's ready to use plus its high quality. I'm glad this adapter has an indicator light that tells you if it's on/working, I'm also glad the THIC C.10/10 cable

Good product but beware of MBP 13 users who want to use it with CRG9

. They said it would help to get full resolution in Samsung CRG9 with Macbook Pro 13. It doesn't work and it's due to the limitations of macOS or Intel processor software in 13 inch MBPs. Please note that this does not affect the product itself, but Apple. That's why I still give it 5 stars. And some additional info for MPB 13 users who want to go beyond 4K, although it's not possible. I'm using MacOS 10.15.5 with a 2017 13" MPB.

This adapter is one of the few that works stably at high speeds.

My Macbook Pro 2019 sends 165Hz to an external 25" Scepter monitor with this adapter. the speed of my external monitor compared to the 60 Hz of my internal monitor. However, you need a display port cable that runs at higher speeds (I'm using ASIN B07JJXM4FR 4.1 high speed cable) and your external monitor must be able to independently tune to the higher frequency, so my external display runs at a maximum frequency of 165 Hz. Edit: TomToc replied to me after I contacted them directly through their website. They could see the Revain message - I'm not sure why they didn't check it sooner. According to the TomToc team, the USB-C to DisplayPort adapter doesn't work with DisplayPort -> HDMI connections - it only works with a direct DisplayPort connection to an external monitor. When I bought it it showed a device connected to a TV and the product description said it would work with TVs. TomToc Support has informed me…

My Macbook Pro 2019 sends 165Hz to an external Scepter 25" monitor with this adapter. It is one of the few that supports higher speeds. Get this adapter for perfect 5120 x 1400 control; looks great too.

I bought this adapter and Cable Matter DP1.4 USB-C DisplayPort adapter for comparison; I have to say after using both, this one won me over. First, both cables worked great with my Samsung CRG9 on my Macbook Pro, delivering a full 5120 x 1400 resolution, although I was only able to get 60Hz with either cable. but I think it's my laptop and not the cable.
