Good Deal - Tool Kits

I'm not sure which connectors the pull/insert tools are for, but all three crimp tools are reliable and a good price. Buy these instead of Greenlee

Closed Deutsch pens are the best

Excellent product. I use the same tool at work. So I bought one for the house. The quality of the closed barrel crimping tools is the best and easiest I have ever used.

Good enough for a home mechanic

Not heavy enough for everyday use. Would be great for a home mechanic for occasional use but will never stand up to me as I will be using it very often. I had to send this back and got a real German tool.

What a good deal for tool kits

Just rate these tools separately and you'll easily spend over $500. Huge savings on a great kit if you need to work with German terminals. The only thing I wished for in the kit that came with it was a crimping tool for 12 gauge terminals. My buddy is a heavy equipment mechanic and he uses the same set every day so that should tell you something about the quality of the set.

I had to contact customer service to get the warranty but everything is fine now.

UPDATE: Customer Service has provided a working replacement. +1 for the support, watched the video and said they would send a replacement so they did. Would have given 5 stars if it worked the first time, but anything can happen and I understand that. I tried to use these for the last time tonight. I am very disappointed with the durable crimping tool in general. I tried using size 20 contacts in it about a year ago and they didn't fit, ordered stamped and formed contacts and used an open…
