This drill is worth the price. Works just as well as the original. How long it stays sharp has yet to be determined, but as long as it works like a champ I'll be buying it again.

Unpacked and drilled two pocket holes and found it doesn't start to cut as easily as the original Kreg bit, but works. Time will tell about the quality. .at the moment it sure is a deal.

Was looking for a worn out Kreg pocket hole drill. This bit worked like my old worn out bit. It was meant to slide on the wood, instead I had to press hard on the drill bit to get the chisel to cut through it.

This nozzle is very good but keep the old stop collar from the original Kreg nozzle for use with this nozzle. The locking collar is very cheap and doesn't fit well. Doesn't fit flush. I used the collar from my Kreg bit and it's fine.

Tried this to save a few bucks instead of buying Kreg branded bits. I was burned. About 50 holes drilled. It didn't work as well as my oldest Kreg bit I had. This piece went straight into the trash can. Lesson learned.

great tool for the price. this is the second I have bought from this supplier; the first broke after about a year of brief use (see fig.). It gets the job done, but if you need to use it regularly, I'd recommend treating yourself to a well-known branded version.

I dropped it off my workbench with a screwdriver on my first day and it was so bent I was worried about using it in a jig. You can try leaning forward a little. Kreg's bits seem to have brittleness issues and break easily. They look too plastic and bend easily. Where is the golden mean? Probably $25.

Perfect size for mounting the floating shelf brackets I bought. You'll need one of these parts if you're hoping to use one of those floating shelf mounts on Revain. They all say they use a 3/8" bit, but they don't. it's just over 3/8" and just under 7/16". I used 10mm and 11mm. I start the hole at 11mm about 2/3 down and then finish the hole at 10mm. This makes the brackets easier to find in the holes in the shelves, they easily insert into the wall and then snap into place when almost flush.

I bought this to replace a blunt pocket hole drill that originally came with my pocket hole kit. It cut smooth compared to other blunt drill bits, but after less than 50 pocket holes the tip broke off while drilling into a piece of wood. I could easily drill more than twice as many holes with the original bit before it started to dull. Technically I can still use the blunt tip, it just cuts slower and leaves more dirt in the wood (more splinters) after the cut. I wouldn't recommend this bit…
