Toolly Installation Disappoints Fuel System

Based on my experience, this automotive part was a total letdown .While it claims to be compatible with a certain year range of powerstrokes, it was a hassle to install and ended up causing more problems than it solved. The only pro was the fact that it was at least SOMEWHAT affordable. However, the cons of it not working properly and ultimately costing me more money in repairs far outweighed that. I would not recommend this product to anyone..

Pros
  • Easy installation on 1994-2003 Powerstroke models
Cons
  • Not compatible with other engine types or models

Cups too small to fit fuel injection

The supplied cups are too small and pull straight out of the hole so they stick better to the installer tool than the head itself. The fee for removing the faucet requires you to fully insert that faucet into the old cup. Because of this, it is difficult for them to detach themselves from the instrument. A typical repair manual calls for 1.5 to 2 tap turns. not with this puller.

Pros
  • Smart size
Cons
  • None
