The same goes for other bad reviews.

Not square. Might be fine for rough construction like the frame of a house, but it doesn't work for woodworking...causing more problems than it solves.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Volume

Disappointed - Measuring and Marking Tools

I've been using this square for several years and for some reason I never realized how wrong it was. I build a new table saw sled and compare it to 4 other squares and they are 1/16" bigger than 24". Just make it JUNK!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Fits

No Square - Measuring and Marking Tools

From my combination of a square of a square and an engineer's square, this square isn't really a square, more like a ruler with another ruler as a hat. All I ask of my squares is that they be square, and that's why I say boo.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Negative is present

What you see is not what you get.

It looks good to read in the pictures and I bought it because the company's color scheme suggested the same. However, the markings are just as difficult to spot as any of the others. Since the ad text does not match the product, I rate it with one star.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Don't listen to the negative reviews

Don't listen to the negative reviews, the people who wrote them don't understand the frame of the square. They come out of the square when thrown. They are used for rough framing. You don't build a piano. With a punch, they easily return to their original position. For the money this square is exactly what I wanted. light and easy to read. If you want a square that's more accurate than you are, use a Starrett. I'm a carpenter and that will serve me well.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Decent quality, if not quite square

I bought a more expensive square hoping it would be square, but it isn't. The angle was sharp about 0.04 inch (just under 3/64 inch) the length of a 24 inch foot and probably good enough for most carpentry work. This was tested by lining up the short leg with the straight edge and marking a line along the long edge, then flipping the square and repeating. This method duplicates each error and makes it easier to spot. The square is made of aluminium, so it is not only light, but also easy to…

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Expensive
