High quality locks

Used for custom sewing thread cabinets. Received without problems, nicely packaged in native boxes with individual packaging of all parts. Easy installation, no hassle with screws. Note the pre-drilled holes and screws set with food-grade paraffin wax (which is used for canning). The clasps work well, there are no problems with the roughness of the handles. Very nice finish and colors. Works very well in use. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Upgradeable

NOT BRASS as described. It's ZINK

I bought a German bronze finish cabinet latch and it looked and worked well. It is also completely disassembled (my antiques don't disassemble) BUT I bought it to match antique brass latches and as the latch was described as brass I was planning on reshaping the handle to match the others fits. After a bit of sawing, it became clear that I wasn't working with a copper pencil; white metal (see photo). To be clear, brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and is a yellow metal. I then went to the Top

Really good quality bars. Worth the price for my application.

I used this on a first aid kit I made for a client. In fact, this was the second bar I bought. The first was an $8 nickel-plated metal token that weighed about a millionth of an ounce. It didn't run smoothly and looked and felt crappy. It went in the trash. This latch is made from heavy duty machined steel with a beautiful chrome finish. I had to drill a bit of holes to fit my chrome screws (not included). The first latch would have cheapened the feel of the whole closet. But this latch…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great clasp, but poorly made.

Very pretty but the handle was poorly made and felt rough on the back. So disappointing. Not sure if it was the casting process or something but incredibly poor quality control right at the factory and apparently the seller overlooked that as well. I paid $20 for a small bar that is poorly made. Looks very pretty as long as you don't have to touch it to use it. I have worked with bars that are 200 years old and of the best quality. I'm sorry to say that Again, I'm giving it two stars because it
