Used for custom sewing thread cabinets. Received without problems, nicely packaged in native boxes with individual packaging of all parts. Easy installation, no hassle with screws. Note the pre-drilled holes and screws set with food-grade paraffin wax (which is used for canning). The clasps work well, there are no problems with the roughness of the handles. I bought a German bronze finish cabinet latch and it looked and worked well. It is also completely disassembled (my antiques don't disassemble) BUT I bought it to match antique brass latches and as the latch was described as brass I was planning on reshaping the handle to match the others fits. Very pretty but the handle was poorly made and felt rough on the back. So disappointing. Not sure if it was the casting process or something but incredibly poor quality control right at the factory and apparently the seller overlooked that as well. I paid $20 for a small bar that is poorly made. Looks very pretty as long as you don't have to touch it to use it. I have worked with bars that are 200 years old and of the best quality.
