Description of Top-Quality Rawlings Northern Ash Wood Fungo Bat For Ultimate Practice And Training

Ultra-lightweight fungo bat designed for fielding practice. Great for long hitting grounders to infielders and pop flies to the outfield. Made of Northern ash with a cupped barrel for a light and balanced design. Extra-long 35-inch bat is easy to swing and control with less effort. Stylish black handle and natural wood barrel

Must have for coaches

Perfect fungo for hitting grounders or fly balls during practice. Unbelievable pop. I barely swing the bat and the ball flies off the barrel. I added bat tape around the barrel to increase the life of the bat.

Pros
  • Put some tape on it and your good to go.
Cons
  • Although the wood construction is of high quality, the Rawlings Northern Ash Wood Fungo Bat lacks a rubberized grip, which can cause discomfort and reduce control for those who prefer a softer handle

Heavier than you are expecting

Good bat. VERY VERY VERY heavy for a fungo. I've gotten used to it and love it now. But it is not the light weight bat that it is advertised as.

Pros
  • Good price for a fungo. I use it for 14U travel ball team.
Cons
  • Despite its durability, the Rawlings Northern Ash Wood Fungo Bat is relatively heavy, making prolonged use during practice sessions tiring and potentially detrimental to a player's performance

Broke after 3 uses - my new review

Bat broke after 3 uses while using for batting practice for 12 year olds…. Wouldn’t recommend buying unless you want some expensive firewood.

Pros
  • Gooddd
Cons
  • I didn’t know the end of this bat was hollow. That was a disappointment.
