🎒 Topeak Aero Wedge Pack with F25 Fixer - Medium Size Review

Easily fits inner tubes, carbon dioxide pump with cartridges, tire patch kit and 2 tire levers or wallet and phone. The mount installs with an Allen key, fits snugly when the bag snaps into place, and tucks right under the seat. Reflective cover, high quality zipper. It's hard to win when you don't need more space.

I replaced an old expandable Topeak. I thought the area was big enough. It turned out to be the same size as mine. And big doesn't seem to be an option. Difficult to fit in 1 hose, tool kit, CO2 cans and small first aid kit. Not much space for anything else like a small diner. But I like theme.

I liked the fact that I can easily pull this product on and off with a strong *latch*. Then just a loop around the seat post with Velcro and you're done. Much better than others with a velcro loop that threads under the seat. Also makes changing bikes easier as I tuck the mount under the seat of another bike.

This is a rigid mount that bolts to the side rails a distance under the saddle. This takes away 1/2 of the saddle adjustment fore and aft. You will need to move the saddle back to make room for the mount. Since then I've seen a model that attaches entirely with velcro, it wouldn't interfere with the saddle attachment at all. The packaging itself is great. Enough space. I don't carry my phone with me, although sometimes I do. I have a spare camera, a multi-tool, a CO2 and an extra cartridge…

I love the medium sized gusset bag and have used it on my main road bike for years. I don't know when the change was made, but the current version has a different seat bracket design. The old bracket attaches backwards at the wide end of the seat stays. The newer version attaches to the narrow part of the saddle rails where they are parallel. My saddle had to be moved all the way back to leave enough room for a quick release. Unfortunately, this new seat tube clip renders the bag unusable on…
