🔧 Topeak Nano TorqBox 5 - Compact Torque Wrench Set with 5 Tool Bits, 5 Newton Meters (5nm) Review

Perfect portable torque kit. I use it with a small Topeak multi tool (I have two different ones), perfect for traveling. Zero complaints so far. It's great that you can also attach your multi-tool with the supplied strap. Good for seatpost, saddle, handlebar, stem etc.

Torqbox is accurate and repeatable which is great for the price. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that the clicking is very faint and very difficult to hear. It really should be more visible. Otherwise it's a great carry-on product when making modifications to carbon rods or other small carbon parts where you don't want to risk over-tightening and tearing. Cheap insurance to prevent this.

This is a great and handy torsion tube! The material and assembly quality is very high. Quality bits S-2. The bit fit in the torsion tube is very precise with minimal play. The clicking sounds are very faint and fairly difficult to notice unless you're paying close attention, but since the torque tube is free to rotate past its torque rating, there should be no accidental over-torque. This product worked great until it broke. I bought it a year ago but only used it 3 times. Once when it came time to tighten my handlebars, again a few months later to tighten the seatpost, and the third time tightening a friend's handlebars I did - the whole Torqbox broke in two. Even with a threshold of 5 Nm, I was always careful when tightening the screws. When 5Nm was reached and I started to move freely I stopped spinning...this product was great when it worked but literally only took 2…
