Poor Sound - Home Audio

This speaker is only slightly better than the TV speaker. I will try to replace it sooner than I would like. Spend your money elsewhere.

Didn't get as much volume as expected

We used this to boost the sound from an old flat screen TV. To be honest, the TV itself has lousy (weak) outputs. There aren't many inexpensive options to amplify RCA outputs these days. I connected it to my phone via bluetooth and that and the remote worked fine. Even with my phone, the sound wasn't great compared to similarly priced Bluetooth speakers, but these speakers didn't accept RCA inputs either.
