The installation process was a nightmare, and even after it was installed, the starter would sometimes fail to work properly. The only positive aspect was that it was cheaper than other options. Based on my experience, this ignition replacement starter vastly improved my motorcycles performance .It's easy to install and provides a quicker starting response. The only downside is that it may not be compatible with all types of motorcycles..

After messing around with a local Yamaha dealer to replace a lost key I finally went down this route. No regret. A little research and this replacement kit solved the problem. Note. If you want to go the same route you will need a 4mm Torx screwdriver to remove the old ignition. (Not included)
