When I tried this Automotive welding tool, it failed to provide adequate support during my job. The welding tip wouldn't stay in place, leading to uneven welds and frustration. The only pro is that it is compact and easy to store, but that doesn't make up for its poor performance. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone looking for reliable and sturdy support during their welding projects.

The stability of my hands has deteriorated over the years and it's impossible to draw a straight line. A great tool that is easy to use and greatly improves the end result. I should have gotten this a long time ago. Protecting cutting tips from molten metal would translate into savings in time and torch tips.</p>

I have an old USA Victor combo. Torch, the adjusting screw for the tip is too short, it only holds about 1 gear. The illustration shows knurled screws. Do you think I would want to have an Allen wrench on me, or what are the chances I can find it when I need it? Understand the concept of buying an item that you can make yourself. It says timeused for something else.
