This is a must have if you have a Mac tour. The incredible stone makes it easy to reshape the blade and get the angle you want if only I could buy a three diamond stone that would be on the stone that comes with the mac can do anything but it's awesome

I bought this to make the final bevel shape on a Japanese Deba knife. The 360 grit used to wear out or clog quickly, so it's pretty smooth now. In practice, of course, this is no longer a 360 grit. The photo shows everything black, that is, the metal is removed from the knife. Tool steel T-15. This works well for sharpening brittle carbide cutters, but clogs horribly for me when trying to cut tool steel (which is inherently a bit brittle).

I have a Tormek and have been frustrated when trying to resharpen damaged edges (instead of just sharpening) or resharpen the edges to form a new angle. The stock bike was TOO SLOW! I spent half a day profiling the new edge. (Not sure how the guy in the company videos can re-sharpen a damaged bit edge in minutes unless the tool is very soft steel?)
