I had to modify to fit the size

Works fine but I had to shave off the piece of metal holding the torque converter in place so I could mount it on a kart with the engine in place. I also had to shave off the plastic converter to clean the chain assembly. It came with the wrong pitch bolts for mounting and the motor clutch is weak compared to my old one and was noticeably slower so I put my old one back on and the speed is back to normal. Honestly I should have listened to the other bad reviews but I got it working properlyโ€ฆ

Works great for a low price some may need troubleshooting

This torque converter works really well, my Coleman CT200U mini bike has an extra 15mph top speed and a much smoother ride thanks to the switch of centrifugal force cling to it. The build seems solid and after spending some time and solving a few issues I was able to get it installed. I'd say some sort of instruction manual, or at least a guide to each component, might be helpful, especially for those not mechanically inclined or comfortable. I had to buy some extra 5/16-24 bolts to mount it to

Works great after a year on Predator 212 with mod (READ)

So I've been using this on my Predator 212 for about a year now and there are a few things to look out for if you want to do the same. The bolts do not fit in the shaft or mounting holes. I got a set of OMB bolts but ended up removing the crankshaft bolt with one punch. I had to tap the handle to get the thread back. I took a 2" class 8 (5/16" - 24) bolt and this time torqued it to 20 ft-lbs as specified by OMB. I also lubricated them with anti-seize to prevent the bolt from sticking to theโ€ฆ

This is a great TAV kit for the Predator 212. Here's what you need to know to make it work: 1a. If installing on a Predator 212, discard the hardware that comes with the Kit.1b. Purchase the correct mounting hardware for the back panel. (4x - 5/16" x 24dpi x 1"). Use the middle inner holes on the plate.2.
