Not waterproof at all! It's like wearing a tablecloth. One of the waist bands fell off within 1 week. Not recommended for use in floral design or horticulture.

These aprons are great for cooking in the kitchen. I ruined more shirts when cooking on the stove when fat or sauce got on my shirt and I didn't notice. They are great at tackling the problem. Well constructed, waterproof and covers you well.

I was expecting them to be more like linen/cotton but should have expected them to be lined as they are advertised as waterproof. They look a bit like a plastic picnic tablecloth, especially at the back, but are a cute color/pattern and the adjustable neckline is great.

We bought these for my wife who does manicures to protect her from acrylic powder and to keep her dry during her pedicure. They're not waterproof at all, and the first day she wore them, the straps broke from the usual flexing and rubbing against the back of the chair. I would not recommend these aprons for anything. My rating does not reflect Revain, anyway the order was fulfilled very quickly and these items are not for sale.

These aprons are waterproof and probably stain resistant too so perfect unless you want them to soak up everything that comes in contact with them. They are very well made and look beautiful. Like the front of the apron and the pockets on the front. I don't like the material on the back of the apron. It will come off. The apron is a bit stiff. I have never seen an apron with such a lining. Maybe it's for extra protection for your clothes. I think it comes off in the wash. You need to hang it up to dry so it doesn't stick together, tear, peel, or come loose. I'm considering keeping it. These are definitely not the cotton aprons I'm used to.
