📺 Toshiba CT-90 Universal LCD HDTV Remote Control - Enhanced User Experience for All TV Models Review

Buttons are unreliable! They work whenever they want from time to time. But I needed a remote control and I have it! So the price and access to other devices is worth it!

Universal? May be. But with my Toshiba 15" TV/DVD player, this remote never seemed to get digital channel messages: you can't enter suffixes for digital channels. So if I want to set 4.1 I can just type 4 and switch to 4.1 which also means the last channel button is useless. I haven't tried DVD management yet.

This remote connected to my Toshiba TV right away. My problem is that this is NOT the original Toshiba CT-90 remote control listed. The picture on this item is not what I received. As you can see in the picture, there is a curved sticker on the bottom of the remote control that says "Ready for this?". REMOTEI don't know what others got but they sent me this.

my grandfather gave me his old toshiba tv when he upgraded it to a new one and somehow brought the old tv to my house i managed to lose the remote control. I looked into Revain for something cheap that would allow me to set a sleep timer on my TV because otherwise I can control everything I use on my Roku remote. The controller works great, it has a sleep timer button right on it and I didn't have to do any tedious tasks to sync the remote to my TV.

I bought this to replace the original remote that came with our TV because the one we had had the on/off button and number 2 no longer works. I was expecting to get the exact same remote as the original remote we had. This replacement remote control is smaller than the original, slightly lighter and the buttons are in a different position. I bought this remote control to replace my Toshiba CT90275 which I bought on May 3rd, 2011. This one is exactly the same except it says RC-017 on the front. Before you decide it does NOT work (as many here have said) note that there is a "Mode Select" switch on the bottom front of the remote. It says "TV, Kabel/Sat, Aux 1, Aux 2". I almost got scared by the reviews saying it didn't work or that it wasn't genuine because it had a sticker that said 'remote control' above the product number. After a bad experience with a previous remote purchase, I was concerned that purchasing this remote might result in disappointment.
