2.20” not 2.25” fits exhaust and emissions

Does not fit BRAND NEW 2.25” stainless steel exhaust. Had to bend the clamp to fit and it is NOT LEAKY. Installed by a professional mechanic. Used a snap-on digital caliper and even at the widest position it was 0.05 inches down. 2.20" not 2.25"

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • I am silent

Don't buy cheap clips, BUY THESE

Other clips are junk. They break when you tighten them. They are as strong as the gates of hell. The Thunder God couldn't break through them with Mjolnir in one hand and the Infinity Gauntlet in the other. It is worth it!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Good but not great

Be careful with sizing

Strap is quite thin but should have good slip resistance. It barely fits in a 2 inch OD pipe. I bought it to use with a new muffler (2" ID) and it doesn't fit the muffler. I will be buying more. Otherwise a good product. Great fittings.

Good, but. best in exhaust and emissions

didn't need it in the end but could have easily been used. It was oblong in shape as shown in other photos. If you join two pipes that aren't a muffler outlet (which you can't use anyway), I think it will fit on the pipe when tightened. Worth the money even if it was an oval.

Pros
  • nice
Cons
  • can damage

Nice looking clamps but vibrate.

I didn't like the fact that after a week these clamps would start to loosen due to the vibration of my 4" Cummins exhaust pipe even if I tightened them to specification. That's why I give it 2 stars, the clamps arrived on time, looked great, worked for a week, had to be tightened, loosened again, had to be tightened a week later. I take off the clamps and hire a welder. 1 of the 3 clamps I bought works great and didn't come loose, it was rock hard but the other 2 years they happily vibrate.

Pros
  • There's something there
Cons
  • Minor issues

good clip best among spares

It didn't fit my application (2014 Honda Element AWD) so I returned it. For some reason Revain asks me to show it every time I log in and I'm tired of seeing it. Here's my review of a product I haven't used: First impressions were good. The hardware is heavier than I expected for the size of the clip, which is nice. It will definitely hold up better than a Honda exhaust. 5 stars because it was a good clip and there aren't many small tape clips like this one. Most options for a 2" exhaust are…

Complete rubbish if you ride harder than usual.

I'm glad I didn't want to make this a permanent solution as I needed something to get back behind the wheel the next day and I was in a bind. It took about two weeks for my other Summit Racing clamp to arrive. A major disadvantage of this and many other clamps of this type with only one strip, essentially made of thin sheet steel. After about 25 heat cycles, the metal had expanded enough not to even hold on to my muffler (see the gaps around the exhaust pipe in the photo). At this point, he…
