His. only good for laptop accessories

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm using a dual monitor setup with a Macbook Air M1 and the lid is closed almost 100% of the time. This works most of the time - I can usually hibernate/wake the laptop with an external keyboard and mouse, and it automatically wakes up in dual monitor mode. There is a bug that causes the display to either blink between 1 and 2 screens or turn off my accessory. In these cases I have to undock my laptop and restart the DisplayLink software, after that it

Very good choice for “Daily Driver” USB-C hub

I recently upgraded from MB Air to MB Pro and needed to upgrade my home dock infrastructure to USB-C. This is a good choice. . Excellent speed on all ports (although I don't use analog VGA, can't comment on that.), good mix of ports (including audio which I almost didn't buy due to sound quality concerns but it's actually ok suitable for everyday use. Probably not at studio level.) It's portable enough to travel around, but I built it into my desktop infrastructure. My only observation is that…

Compact with multiple ports!

Exactly what I was looking for! After someone in the family had something similar, I started looking for my own. Who would have thought that such a compact device could have so many ports! My expensive laptop doesn't even have a USB port. The best features for me are the HDMI ports, to which I can connect multiple screens at the same time. This makes it much easier to work from home and also when I want to connect my computer to my TV when I want to view pictures on a big screen. Of course…

Great compact docking station

I was working from home due to the pandemic and my old docking station broke. I bought this one as it seemed to have all the bells and whistles my old one had but a quarter the physical size. This thing has everything I needed. I connect my dual monitors to HDMI ports, it has a VGA port but I'm not currently using it. I plug all my adapters into three USB 3.0 ports and then the PD port goes through charging to my laptop. I even use an ethernet connection for a better connection than WiFi. All…

Took me about a week to uninstall and reinstall to get it working, but it works. I have two monitors connected to my MacBook Pro 2020 M1. It was the cheapest I could find and I haven't had a problem since it went live. Please note that you must allow screen recording in your privacy settings. I've had to contact their customer support multiple times and they haven't been the most helpful, but in the end it's exactly what they promised.

Portable, functional and perfect for Mac M1 computers

TLDR: This is the best budget dual monitor solution for Mac M1 computers with lots of I/O that I definitely recommend! I was disappointed to find out that M1 Macs don't support dual monitors. During my research I found that there is a workaround for some devices that support Displaylink. The problem was that they were all very expensive (considering the number of features I needed). Found this after lots of Amazon pages but glad I did because it gave me all the I/O of my large dual monitor hub…

my second main screen all the time and the third for presentations when needed. For the 2nd screen it worked straight away but once I installed the Displaylink software (which was very easy) it worked 100% allowing me to work with 3 screens. The only problem I've found is that I get lines on the second screen, this often happens when I launch videos and other more graphics intensive apps, I've also noticed that the device heats up when doing so. Personally it's annoying, but not enough to…

Great Product - Computers and Accessories

This USB hub really impressed. At the moment I'm using it as a docking station at home as I'm not traveling due to COVID, but I'll definitely keep it with me when I travel. This USB hub is a great buy and would recommend for a dual screen setup as it has two HDMI ports. I use Mac and Windows and both of my laptops only have 1 or 2 USB-C ports, so I definitely need a hub to connect additional monitors and external storage. This document can do everything for me as you can see in the pictures. I…

Triple display with extended monitors on new Macbook M1 works great

I just received a new Macbook Air with an M1 chip which unfortunately only supports an extended display natively. I have two external monitors in my office and needed a USB-C hub to support them. I found this product at a very good price and I'm glad I bought it. The packaging is just a small brown box with minimal branding, nothing special. In the box there is a USB hub, a carrying case and an instruction manual. I've used DisplayLink before, and knowing that this USB hub supports DisplayLink,
