Seems to be a great device for the price so far. I bought it for a small portable device, I wouldn't mind chatting but it seems to do everything my big darling does.

I used it for 2 months when I lost my toolpouch size Klien. The reading takes a little longer to stabilize, but it does the job. It replaced a Klien-sized tool bag until I got the Fluke 87. The wires are fine, it's small enough to hold a weight and a meter in one hand.

Considering the price, this little gauge is amazing. It has all the measurement features found in full-featured, more expensive meters. It is very compact, but at the same time the reading digits are quite large and easy to read, the contrast is excellent. I compared various measurements with my high quality desktop meter and my meter's calibration was accurate (maybe I got lucky with that?). The continuity tester responds quickly and repairs well.

This meter is very, very good but get some fuses first as fuses are very untypical for a meter. . They are rated for 250 volts which I feel is a bit impractical if you plan on running this at higher voltages. Also, the meter pins aren't rated (e.g. he's supposed to be rated for 600V/2000V/etc). There is a MOV on top of the board, but I didn't see any additional transient suppression circuitry. At the same time, I think this is an excellent meter in terms of cost and purpose. I'd pay another $10

I've just done some testing and am very happy. The numbers are big and easy to see, but what really amazes me is the accuracy of this multimeter. I mainly use it for voltage, AC and DC. For example check AC grid voltage. My power monitor may read 120.1 and the M101 stays a step away from that 120.1. I also have M102 and it is exactly the same. When the performance monitor changes, M101 and M102 change. Up to 0.1 V. I checked the line frequency. 60.00 to 60.01 Hz. Again, these are both units…
