Bought this shovel after using it on a friend. Feet are awesome - no more messy counters after you've scooped ice cream for the whole family. And the shape of the spoon makes these spoons perfect.

The first time it went in the dishwasher it started to leak. It's firm and won't wash out. I've used it two more times, put it in the dishwasher and it gets worse each time. It's nice, but I don't want to hand wash it every time.

Love how it glides over ice cream. And I can turn the scoop into the perfect sphere to place the cone on if I want. In the end I still get standing feet in the ice. And I know that's not the purpose of the design. Maybe as I think. I'm not sure.

This was a steal compared to the price of the same item at Williams Sonoma. I like the pointed edge and the fact that I can clean it in the dishwasher. Ice cream sometimes sticks to stainless steel and I have to use a different scoop to get a clean scoop, but I still prefer it to my aluminum scoops, which require more attention in terms of hand washing rather than settling in the water.

This shovel is nice and heavy. It can also be used to scoop hard ice cream with ease and also has the typical scoop shape, making it suitable for ice cream cones. Love it. It also goes well with my Tovolo sundae, which I have two of. Best shovel I've ever had and my 5 kids and I have been through a lot. This one hasn't rusted and after many (hand)washes it's still as beautiful as the day we got it. Tovolo makes great products.

This spoon has many useful things except that ice cream cannot be sold at the counter. This is only possible if you can prevent the ice from touching the little green leg while shoveling. And when that happens, ice cream drips onto the counter. Take it again to get another scoop and the ice cream dripped onto the handle and now your hands are melted on it.
