Despite my title, the product works by providing the user with slow-melting ice perfect for whiskey or rye. The bullet itself tends to be a bit cloudy and I've tried using distilled water but that doesn't help. The round cube is actually less round than half ovoid. I'll have to play around with it a bit more to see if I can get that perfectly round shape. But ultimately, who cares? It works, it's a much better way of chilling whiskey and that's all that matters.

I have followed some online advice and have been successful. Very good value for the money. I was able to get clear or almost clear balls of ice by doing the following, mainly from other reviews: I used a Coleman 8qt cooler with about a half inch of water at the bottom. I've tried all types of water: distilled, boiled, filtered, and boiled water, but regular hot tap water gave clear ice as well. Fill the pot with hot tap water to collect all 4 shapes.
