Tow Hitch Adaptor Reducer Safety Review

I needed a hitch adapter to work with my new hitch and old hitch bike rack. This one works but has quite a bit of play. For many applications that wouldn't matter, but for me the bikes wobbled left and right when turning or driving over bumps. Now I use a strap to keep them offset to one side.

Works fine. When fitted to my new Draw-Tite 75742 Class III receiver it loosened up a bit which initially bothered me. Installed a 1.25" bike mount and then rode it. Everything is fine and I don't see how it could be better, especially at this price. Works. I'm glad.

Just awful. Don't buy this. I had to tape 7 or 8 times around the 2" side because it was too loose in my existing mount. When I jacked my tractor 1-1/4" into the side, it was so loose that I couldn't safely use it without attaching ropes to the tractor and then to the roof rack to stabilize it. The semi-trailer literally swayed sideways .6" or more to the side and bobbing up and down far enough to almost touch the pavement.
