Better than buying a universal wiring harness. The installation was easy, the instructions are sufficient. I will continue to use these products on my future vehicles.

Very easy installation. The guide was good. The hardest part was stretching the positive wire to the battery. The YouTube video provided enough information that I already knew how I would route the wire. Very satisfied.

Had to reconnect half the wires to get it working properly. Not sure if I ordered the wrong kit but it didn't work properly on the 2016 Focus. We were running out of time so I had to reassemble it to make it work. The plugs fit well but do not activate the correct light. If I didn't have to build something right away, I would return it. Build quality looked ok. Running the cable from the front to the back of the car was a pain.

This is a well made product. Assembly has adequate and simple instructions. Unfortunately the ports on the 2015 Focus Electric Hatchback are smaller than the ports on this model. Send it back now and look for other products or solutions. I don't actually plan on towing a trailer, instead I use a bike mount and with the bike mount removed this build should run a nifty hitch brake light. . Otherwise it looks like my car has an exhaust if not.

I'm not happy with having to run wires from the converter box back to the taillights to the battery. I couldn't find a way through the firewall on either the passenger or driver's side. I didn't want to hang the cable under the car and bring it to the battery. The company should have had instructions to have a small spade connector and then put it in the small fuse box in the back on the left side of the cargo area. I grounded/saw about 50% of the blade terminal. The box easily gets 12 volts…
