Good factory system, requires dealer programming

Very easy to install. Once installed, you will need a Toyota dealer to program the key fobs. Comes complete with very good detailed installation instructions.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Don't buy this. in Interior accessories

With decent size in crowded parking lots, remote starter does not work at 20 meters. For both of these jobs, you have to be really close. Otherwise you will run the remote boot sequence and it will not be registered. My product also seemed to be used.

Pros
  • Hands-free kit
Cons
  • For old

Buy a remote starter off the street for your 2015 Highlander

Installed it on my 2015 Highlander for $800. I'm disappointed! My 2010 Highlander was introduced to the aftermarket and is vastly superior to this item. Range was much better, it didn't turn off when you opened the door (that part is crazy), and there was even a valet option to leave the car running if you needed to park the car somewhere for a quick stop . This is a poor option from what I thought was a quality company. If I had known this information I would have found an aftermarket brand.

Genuine Toyota starter keeps everything factory new.

First of all, I have no experience with cars. I was able to install this remote start by following the simple online instructions I found. It took 30 minutes in total. The reviews are correct it doesn't have much range but it works great with my wife's 2015 Highlander and does the job we bought it for over the winter and hot summer months of keeping the car warm and cool. It works with all factory remote controls. We went to our local Toyota dealership and it took them half an hour to program…

Buyer Warning. fits interior

I bought a Toyota OEM remote starter for a 2014 Highlander. As some other reviews say, this feature is inferior from Toyota. We were unable to get this unit to work properly 50 feet from the vehicle. It turns off when you open the door. We also have key fobs to control the alarm, doors etc. The sequence to start the car consists of 3 presses on the lock button with different time intervals between button presses. It's not working properly. Sometimes the car starts at the first sequence…

Toyota engineers should be ashamed of this remote start accessory

Toyota engineers should be ashamed to admit that they developed this accessory. This $400 MSRP (#PCH7) was added to my 2015 Toyota Highlander AWD Limited Platinum by the dealer/dealer along with other overpriced useless crap like nitrogen gas in my tires. The range is terrible, way less than a regular remote on my 2009 and now. 2015 and I assume you need to be within 100 feet for this to work. The car stays locked until you open the door, which unlocks when you're close enough to find your…

Easy to install without any modifications to your car.

So I decided to buy this OEM remote start kit for my 2015 Highlander Limited. I needed a remote starter, but I didn't want to buy it from the aftermarket or pay the dealer for it. Installation was very easy and required no modifications to your vehicle. The instructions are pretty clear, but I had to search the internet a bit to make sure I had the right procedure. One thing you need to make sure is that you have a hood sensor on your car. Otherwise you need to buy and install it. In my case, I
