The WiFi signal is amazing, the app works great and is very easy to use, TP-Link customer service is very responsive. I have the base spec package so I can't max it out, but I get about 220Mbps on 5G and 150Mbps on 2.4G. Don't Buy. This router is junk. Worked fine for 2 weeks and died like other reviews I read about it. Customer service is the worst I've ever seen. Don't even try to call, it won't work. They then charged my credit card $5 just for texting them. After waiting hours with no response I repackaged this junk and sent it back. I will never buy anything from TP LINK again. Save yourself the pain, don't buy.

This router is amazing! He easily manages my entire family. I used to have disconnects in certain parts of my house and when I connected my security system to my old TP-Link 1750AC router, my entire system slowed down. This router is a big leap in class over routers with 4 antennas. The coverage has eliminated 2 dead zones in my house and has 3 networks (one 2.4GHz and two 5GHz networks). The app is easy to use. Setup shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Tp-Link > Linksys. Refurbished is a great deal with a retail price of over $200.

Bought a certified refurbished unit and it didn't work at all. Will not turn on or sync with computer. Sending this one back in hopes of getting a working one.

Have switched to 1GB and found that my bandwidth is limited with Netgear Nighthawk. After careful consideration and looking for reviews on several websites, I purchased the AC4000. Out of the box my download speed hits 790. It's a keeper! Another fun fact is that you can combine 5 and 2.4 SSIDs into one and connect your device to a single instance instead of broadcasting 3 separate SSIDs.
