TP-Link Bluetooth Adapter

I bought a TP-Link Bluetooth Adapter for my gaming PC to use my Xbox One controller wirelessly. So far it's been great. Very quick and easy install on Windows 10. I was able to add the adapter, boot up and add an Xbox controller in less than 5 minutes. I recommend this Bluetooth adapter to anyone who needs or wants to add Bluetooth to a PC or laptop.

CSR Harmony Nightmare

Easy to install "drivers" are half viruses. I've spent too much time disabling the stupid 'features' that come with this BT adapter. First, the main functionality crashes after the first reboot. You turn off your computer for the first time since installation, and after that driver conflicts occur that prevent devices from connecting. Works great on Win10 but may not be plug-n-play. Read this for a solution.

The device works great and adds a strong Bluetooth signal for devices that don't have it built in (like my desktop computer). The instructions for Win10 say this is plug 'n play, but in my case it turned out not to be. First, make sure you're using a USB 2.0 port and choose a port that's far from your USB 3.x ports. The drivers are absolutely terrible

The drivers for this adapter are absolutely terrible. My adapter wasn't working with Windows 10 as a bluetooth plug and play device, so I decided to go to the TP-Link website to get their drivers. Drivers are old. Even after you've installed the drivers, Windows will recognize the device as a Bluetooth radio in Device Manager, but won't let you make any Bluetooth connections in Settings, claiming the PC doesn't have Bluetooth. Truly plug and play!

Used on a ThinkCentre desktop running Windows 10 x64. When I read "Plug and Play" I'm always skeptical that you usually have to fiddle with drivers and such. This device is truly plug and play. The moment I was connected, a small Bluetooth icon appeared in the status bar, and then I was able to browse and transfer files between my PC and smartphone. Do yourself a favor and get one!

Very easy to set up, connection is stable and lag-free

Looks neat and is very easy to set up. Just plug it in and it will start automatically in Windows10 without any manual configuration. The range is okay, tested both at my home and in the office. The connection to my AirPod and my mouse is stable when moving and hasn't had any lags so far. It is an ideal product for PCs without Bluetooth connectivity and no need to connect Bluetooth headphones or printers.

Xbox One controller works PERFECTLY

I only bought this to use my Xbox One controller wirelessly on my gaming PC as I was tired of the cable to the connect to use. I just connected a TP-Link Bluetooth device and it showed up as a Bluetooth source for the computer.
