Mesh WiFi performance 5 stars. but application. not many

I've had this in our house for over a month now. One block is on the first floor and the other is on the second floor. I have almost 100% Wi-Fi signal in my basement and I can walk into the middle of our 1 acre backyard and still have enough signal to download/stream content. (I'll probably add another decorative element to the patio to extend coverage to the entire area.) A few points about my setup: Cable modem (100Mbps by Spectrum) - Meraki/FW router - Deco M9. While I could easily use the…

A true mesh home network with incredible roaming capabilities!

I started my mesh network with Deco M5s and chose them over other mesh products because they supported a WIRED backchannel connection (something that Orbi, Google etc did NOT support at the time). Since my house is connected to Cat5e it would be foolish not to use it. FYI, the three-channel Deco M9s are now even better for wireless than the M5s before them. The M9 also added a smart home hub (but supports enough devices to justify swapping out my Samsung "SmartThings" hub). My TPLink mesh…

The damn thing doesn't work properly with AT&T Broadband (Pace Modem)

UPDATE: I got it back. Don't buy this, especially if you have AT&T broadband! All I want is for it to work properly so I can get the bandwidth I pay for! The damn thing doesn't work properly with AT&T Broadband (Pace modem). I pay for 100 Mbps from AT&T and get it when I use the Pace modem router built into the modem. I took the M9 because of the dead spots in the house. I followed the instructions to put the modem in DMZ mode and redirected everything to M9 in router mode. I increased the…

Bad network design.

It's hard not to buy. I liked it at first until I changed my internet service which caused me to run out and then I replaced the modem twice. This shouldn't have affected my home intranet or inertial network. However, this system requires a permanent internet connection for the router to work. So if you have an internal network, it will damage your network. Also, after calling the TP, I was told to create a new network, which makes no sense. So far this mesh router has great speeds and is very…

WOW. just wow. Would give 6 stars if that was an option!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I couldn't believe how easy it is to set it up. I put my Junk CenturyLink DSL modem/router in bridge mode and then turned it off. Connected Deco and turned everything back on. With the Deco app on my iPhone, I was up and running in about 60 seconds. Unbelievable! And I have NEVER had such good WiFi coverage in my house in 15 years. We now have reliable Wi-Fi coverage everywhere. That's great. The parental controls are great. Thanks to the Deco app, I've discovered a few…
