Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confidently say that this product is a complete disappointment. It has not delivered on any of its promises. The product is poorly designed, with flimsy materials that are easily damaged. On the plus side, it was easy to install.

Well it was easy to install and seemed to work great then it happened. This damn thing flipped automatically at about 11 mph and no one knew about it. Finally I noticed his movement and stopped the boat. We were at 57ft so it took a lot of line and the boat stopped before all the line was pulled out and hooked. I put this on my 16ft fishing boat. It came with an extra switch for the steering wheel, which was nice. There are some features that can be corrected if the operator is aware. First is security.
