Bought this knife as a gift with a set of Cutco knives. Like all Cutco products, this knife is of a very high quality and will cut through all cheeses, from soft to very hard, with minimal effort! We had the smaller version and love this longer blade length.

I grew up with cutco. They say it's a cheese knife, but it's more than that. It also cuts paper-thin vegetables. I have a few, still have scissors from over 60 years ago when my dad was a door seller. The demonstration was that you can make pennies with it. No blunt blades. It is true. Love me.

I bought this for my summer house because I like this in my main house. When slicing cheese, it cuts cleanly like a blade and the cheese doesn't stick to the knife. I have had Cutco knives for many years and knew this would be the one for me. Cutco is a great company to do business with in general. I highly recommend the company and this knife in particular.
