this thing is pretty slick. All I had to do was pull the exhaust on my 2018 Ram 3500 to complete the installation. Drilling the frame is the biggest pain of the whole setup. Used a saw and ratchet strap to lift the panel and hold it in place. It's nice that it's attached to a B&W-5. wheel setup if you need it at some point.

I called everyone and the cheapest unit I could find was $650. So I decided to save some money and install it with my dad's help. My 2017 Ram 3500 was not pre-drilled to mount the fifth wheel. crazy i know The kit came with everything I needed and that was false proof. took me about 2 hours. You will need help to hold the mount under the truck.

If you assemble it yourself, take the strap and attach it to the support bar in the coupler. Pull the strap up through the hole in the bed and over the bar/hammer handle etc and then back down through the hole and clutch. You can then hold the clutch in place without fear of it falling on you as you spin. Resetting the spare tire and removing the heat shield takes longer than bolting on the hitch. Overall installation was easy and only took about 2 hours and I took my time. I would suggest watching the installation video on YouTube, it makes things a lot easier and I was just referencing instructions for torque specs. If you have a second person in the back of the truck, they can use rope to lift the plate to hold it in place while you install the bolts. Save money and install it yourself!

Very easy to install, took about 2 hours and required no inner fender modification on a 2013 Ram 3500. There are no pre-drilled holes in the crossmember. I would give 5 stars but my buddy has a short hitch with a ball bag to stow in the cabin when not in use and a rubber plug to cover the hole. I like this idea so the ball doesn't get stuck in the clutch over time from manure and rust.

Not as easy to install as B&W makes their videos. The video has cables and lines that do not interfere where there is room to work. I installed the mounting brackets correctly, but I was unable to raise the hitch itself. This was partly due to him injuring his shoulder and being under a truck that was trying to lift him. I ended up paying a company who put an extra $100 into my nose liner to get it done. Be sure to drill both security clips vertically. That makes a big difference and they won't
