    Tram review 1189

    Antenna was used for EMT's personal car for use on VHF firing frequency. After adjustment, the SWR is less than 1.2:1. Proven when installing the antenna on glass. Well packed.

    Great for Garmin Alpha/Astro

    I used this antenna as an accessory for my Garmin Alpha 100 dog tracking system, it works great while driving and the Garmin tracker is in the truck. The connector on the bottom of the inside is a female TNC, so I bought a male TNC to male SMA cable to connect to the Garmin's antenna. The average frequency the Alpha system uses is 153.210 with the SWR meter, which can easily be adjusted to 1.2 SWR using the adjustment screw on the inside of the base.     Works very well. No instructions were sent. Please note the following when installing.1. Mount the connector in a horizontal position, that is, the wire is connected from the side, without falling or rising. Clean glass well, it is best to stick when glass is warm.2.
