Type of review

I recently purchased an oil filter adapter from the Engines & Engine Parts category in Performance Car Parts & Accessories, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! As a result of using this product, I found that the oil pressure in my high-performance automotive engine remained stable, even under extreme temperatures and high revs. The adapter is made of high-quality materials that are durable and long-lasting. Pros

Cons
  • On the pricier side.

Requires a visit to a hardware store to complete installation

Adapter is solid and works well. Please note that the socket head screws used for attachment may not be suitable for your engine. My Chevy 327 needs 1/4-20 and the box says that's included. However, the included screws are 5/16. I used two 1/4 pan head screws from the hardware store.

Pros
  • Oil Filter and Accessories
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Wrong bolts included

As others have written in the reviews, the packaging says to use 1/4 -20 bolts to attach the adapter housing to the engine. Well, it comes with 5/16 screws and a round thread. So if my hardware store is far from the engine and you don't have a large collection of spare bolts, you're screwed. I spent another fifty bucks on the right bolts, it's not really a big deal but the Trans Dapt needs to understand this, not everyone is a hot rod mechanic.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
