I bought a 1TB Transcend StoreJet M3 Military, drop tested, external hard drive USB 3.0 Drive " specifically and exclusively for storing all games and apps on my Xbox One. I've had it since November 2015 and it's working perfectly. I've noticed that it's been glitching and randomly rebooting from time to time over the past few months, but now it's working fine it's completely dead I'll be troubleshooting to make sure the cable is defective as that's the only option available, however this hard…

Great solid hard drive.

I'm always skeptical about new brands. I'm usually a fan of Western Digital. But over the years, Western Digital started to disappoint me. I've never heard of the Transcend brand. I read all the specs of this particular hard drive and really liked what it had to offer. I went ahead and bought a hard drive and it was definitely quality when it arrived. I open the box and the hard drive is extremely durable. I noticed a button to block specific files. I also noticed the USB 3.0 cable. I…

Two of those drives failed consecutively in less than two months!

I can't believe how reliable this hard drive is. I do some freelance engineering work and bought this drive specifically for its durability - at least that's what he claims. I had it for about two months before it got the death click. Please note that this drive has been used very, very little and has never left my office. "Okay, I'm fine," I thought. "Hard drives follow a Gaussian failure curve and I happened to get one that was supposed to fail early." I contacted Transcend and got an RMA…

I am very disappointed and angry at myself for my .

I've had this CD for about a year, it's only 65% full and just broken. Although the actuator is "shockproof" and covered in rubber, I've always treated it well, always shut it down properly, and here it is. None of my PCs have access to the hard drive for no apparent reason. I have about a dozen hard drives, some of which are 5 years old or older, and none of them have ever failed. This is the first time an external drive has failed so quickly. I'm very disappointed and angry at myself for not…
