Incredible little device at the price of

The Transcend card reader is the most stylish little device I have ever come across. The memory card is inserted into the slot on the side of the device, which is then connected to the USB port. This has saved me time and energy in several ways:* I no longer have to crawl under my desk to find the SD slot on my desk as I can instead plug my Transcend reader into a USB hub on my desk* I no longer have to look for cables to connect devices that use SDHC cards. Although my desktop computer'sโ€ฆ

Good card reader in memory card accessory

My Dell card reader in my computer dies a horrible death. After a long search I can only buy a used/refurbished card reader that has the same lifespan as my old one and that is not very good. I need a more reliable reader. I bought this wearable as an alternative to the above. It has been packaged in a blister pack with minimal instructions and is plug and play compatible with Windows XP Home. During the first connection, the computer did not recognize the reader. The second time I gave anโ€ฆ

Fairly fast speed - great value for money

Speed is pretty good but not outstanding - BlackMagicDesign's Disk Speed Test utility on MacOS transfers data from SDHC - Transcend 16GB Class 10 cards at around 19/16MB/s R/W compared to 20.5/18MB/s R/W for the same card inserted into an SD card reader plugged into my monitor and connected via USB 2.0 (no speed difference was found when connected). into a USB hub rather than into a cellphone's dedicated USB port.) This thing doesn't seem to suffer from some of the mechanical issues that otherโ€ฆ

Works well, fits poorly

I will be visiting people who have computers without SD/SDHC readers. In order not to risk carrying my laptop, I bought an SD/SDHC card reader (plus two other types). In order to have my own programs and not pollute my host computers, I downloaded PortableApps onto a 32GB Class 10 SDHC card. I tried the adapter with an SDHC card inserted into the adapter and the adapter was plugged into one of the USB 2.0 ports on my computer. The combination worked well with no visible loss of speed. Great little device; cheap and does the job

Purchased to add storage read cards for my digital camera. It replaced a much larger and more expensive SanDisk all-in-one reader that threw up and died without cause after about a year of very infrequent use. This device is very easy to use, just plug it into any USB port and insert your SD card into the slot. You don't need any special software or drivers, it just pops up and your computer sees and reads it like any other disc. File transfer was very fast with no issues. When you're done, you

Stylish all-in-one card reader with USB 2.0 transfer rates

The small form factor makes the P5 a stylish accessory in my digital camera bag. With the P5, I can transfer data from an SDHC memory card in my digital camera at USB2.0 speeds. It has an elegant and stylish look. The P5 requires no cables. Since another reviewer pointed out that this P5 card reader only transfers data at USB1.1 speed (700-900 KB/s) and not at USB2.0 speed (12-15 MB/s), I have the following Transfer speed demos performed. I used a Transcend SDHC flash memory card (16GB) withโ€ฆ
