I like the idea of putting TBI on top of the carb intake but the product says it's 0.5 thick which is 0.25 , which does not yield much thread

I was out of town when the replacement arrived and charged extra for the replacement, was very dissatisfied and was unable to contact the seller. I still have the original in the return box.

Preventing a vacuum leak is almost impossible. 1/4-20 2" long bolts with lock washer and flat washer are required, otherwise the bolts will go through the plate and lift the seal lip. You will also need a large RTV tube. Good luck, better go with Holly 17-45

I expected more than a piece of hot rolled steel cut with a laser. One would think they could at least use cold rolled steel for a better surface quality. This is a bit of a rough part. It came with gaskets, fittings and everything is fine. It's workable but looks like it was made in a workshop. The image is not representative of the part you will receive.

I ordered the product and it was delivered very quickly and looks in good condition but after installing the adapter I noticed that it The problem is that the main bolts on the plate are the reason the bolts need to be ground in order to fit a larger carburetor without damaging the carburetor as the bolt doesn't sit completely flat on the plate adapter and once you grind the top bolts off the plate carb it can be totally flat but I've also found that the bottom plate adapter washer doesn't hold
