    Quality VS Purpose - Drawing

    I bought this item to make stencils with thin metal dies from Sizzix, Spellbinder, Pink Fresh etc. He's too fat for what I intended. They are of good quality and appear to be durable.

    Nice and dense but still transparent

    Good material for making stencils. Mylar is strong but you can still see through it. It has a nice smooth texture and can bend as you work.

    10mm is best for making stencils

    If you want to make stencils I think these 10mm sheets work best. Worked great on my CRICUT cutting machine with a fine tip cutting tool. I set the shutter setting to 10mm that I could find. It is best to use small cut-out images until you have found the best settings for your machine.

    I didn't think my project through, but the mylar sheets worked great.

    These 10 blank 10 mil Mylar screen sheets work well. I think I need to think a little more about my project. I made a little sample and forgot to leave some pieces for the template. I will try again after I solve my problem. The sheet worked great, my project was my problem, not mylar. The package contains 10 sheets of 12 x 12 inches. The thickness of these sheets appears to be about the same thickness as the finished stencil sheets I purchased.

    - This is a kind of quite thick lavsan template; I believe a little over 10m. While it was difficult to carve by hand, stencils made from it have to withstand *many* uses.
