Not working again for computers and accessories

Not working a second time, very long power cords and using two at the same time, one from 8cat I think PC and Xbox. I agree it's great not being wireless. For detailed information on exposure to wireless radio frequencies, contact the manufacturer of the device in question. They use standards that compare devices to the average mobile phone, which makes no sense if you don't have one. For example, if an Xbox is emitting RF waves when a controller is connected and configured with Ethernet, you…

This router is smarter than me!

It seems so simple: replace my worn out Trendnet router with the exact same model. But I couldn't log in like I was told. I restarted my router, modem and computer, ran the Windows troubleshooter and it said everything was fixed, but I still couldn't log in. And then he said that I have an internet connection. I asked Thunderbird to get my email and it got it. I asked Chrome to take me to Google and they took me. I had internet. Lightning speed - 117 Mbps on a good day. The router shouldn't be…

Happy little router with a few bugs

This is a reliable router that does the usual things: DHCP, NAT, port mapping, client access restriction (time of day, MAC address), basic firewall Features (remove port mapping, stop ping), etc. If that doesn't tell you anything, you can just auto-configure and forget about it. Two disadvantages: 1) There are no reserved IP addresses for DHCP. It's a star and a half discount. I can't assign consistent IP addresses to things like my NAS devices and printers, which makes me uncomfortable…

Good router for AT&T Fiber 1Gbps service

Hardware: Arris BGW210-700 with IP passthrough with fixed DHCP configuration, WiFi and firewall disabled (virtually all unnecessary things have been disabled) and with this TWG-431BR Router, which in turn is connected to the TP-Link TL-SG1016DE switch. For testing, I used a Dell Latitude e6320 with an integrated Intel 82579LM network card running Ubuntu 20.10 connected to a TP-Link switch. All firmwares have been updated. Configuration: The TWG-431BR was configured manually as there was no…
